Iran, Indonesia sign MoU on petrochemical industry
Iran National Petrochemical Company and an Indonesian company signed a Memorandum of Understanding to launch feasibility study and investment for construction of several petrochemical plans in Iran.

Director for Investment Bureau of NPC Hossein Alimorad said on the sidelines of the signing ceremony that the NPC has signed MoU with an Indonesian company to launch economic feasibility study for direct investment in Iran in four petrochemical plants.

He said that the company intends to make direct investment in Chabahar region after the study.

Indonesian President Joko Widodo accompanying a large economic delegation arrived in Iran on Tuesday.

Iranian export to Indonesia stood at 73.717 million dollars and import at 82.908 million dollars in the first seven months of the current Iranian year.
