Tehran, IRNA – President Masoud Pezeshkian has departed for Kazakhstan on a two-day visit aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
The president left Tehran on Wednesday afternoon and was seen off by several Iranian officials, including First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref.
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Agriculture, Justice, Culture and Islamic Guidance, and Roads and Urban Development are accompanying Pezeshkian on the trip.
During his talks with his Kazakh counterpart, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President Pezeshkian is set to discuss expanding cooperation in trade, the economy, transport, logistics, and cultural and humanitarian fields.
