Continued oil production, exports during third imposed war praised
The vice chairman of the Parliament’s Energy Committee praised the Oil Ministry’s performance during the war and under enemy attacks, saying the continued production and export of oil, fuel supply for the public, and gas distribution during the Third Imposed War were commendable.
Omid Karimian pointed to the Oil Ministry’s positive performance across its operations, including production, exports, fuel distribution and gas supply during the conflict. He said the ministry also achieved notable success in increasing oil revenues, adding that oil exports continued despite wartime conditions and enemy attacks, which he said deserved appreciation.

The Energy Committee vice chairman said that while many countries faced fuel and gasoline shortages during the same period and experienced rising gasoline prices, Iran avoided such problems because of the Oil Ministry’s jihadi-style efforts. He added, however, that changes in consumption patterns remain necessary under current conditions.

Karimian said Oil Ministry employees should be regarded as frontline soldiers in confronting the enemy and stressed that they should be supported through various measures. He added that Parliament would provide the necessary facilitation and support in this regard.
