No oil spill reported in Persian Gulf: DoE
The head of Department of the Environment denied reports of any oil leakage from ships or pipelines following recent developments, saying a detailed assessment of the environmental damage caused by the recent war has been completed.
Shina Ansari said ongoing monitoring of marine and land-based pollution showed that no oil spills from vessels or pipelines had been reported so far and that the situation remained under control.

Elsewhere in her remarks, Ansari referred to the environmental consequences of the recent imposed war, saying authorities had assessed the damage and prepared a detailed report outlining the losses in both rial and dollar terms.
