NPC outgoing CEO honored, interim chief named
On the sidelines of the Oil Ministry's Deputy Ministers Council meeting on Monday, a ceremony was held to honor the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) outgoing CEO and introduce the company's interim chief.
The ceremony followed the appointment of Hassan Abbaszadeh as CEO of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Conpany (PGPIC). Under a decision by the NPC board of directors and a decree issued by the board chairman, officials commended Abbaszadeh for his service and contributions during his tenure as managing director of the NPC.

Meanwhile, Omid Shakeri, the deputy oil minister for engineering, research and technology, was appointed acting head of the National Petrochemical Company while retaining his current position.
