Paknejad: Oil workforce shows resilience
Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad, in a message marking Government Week and Employee Day, praised the around-the-clock efforts of the country’s oil industry workers, saying their dedication and sense of responsibility ensured that oil production, transmission and energy and fuel supplies continued without interruption despite unprecedented pressures.
“Government Week and Employee Day are an opportunity to honor the tireless efforts and sincere work of employees who serve Iran and strive to strengthen the country,” Paknejad said.

He said oil industry workers had remained committed over the past year despite unprecedented pressure, intensified sanctions and the difficult conditions caused by war.

“Their effective and selfless presence, backed by a spirit of sacrifice, responsibility and faith in national capabilities, has helped safeguard the vital engines of the country’s economy,” he said.

Paknejad said the oil industry, through the round-the-clock efforts of its managers, engineers and employees, had prevented disruptions to the production, transmission and supply of energy and fuel.

He noted that the industry’s performance had also been recognized by the president during his visits and remarks, adding that the government’s emphasis on efficient energy management would open new avenues for responsibility and service across the oil industry.

He said maintaining the current path would require greater attention to energy consumption patterns, stronger conservation efforts, development of the energy-efficiency value chain and greater economic discipline.

“Economic resilience depends on the informed and responsible participation of all of us,” Paknejad said, adding that public trust and support would provide an important foundation for overcoming challenges.

He also said that, with the guidance of the Leader and through national unity, cohesion and determination, oil workers would continue working alongside the government and other officials to strengthen Iran, advance its oil industry and improve public welfare.

Paknejad concluded by congratulating oil industry employees on Government Week and Employee Day and wishing them health, dignity and continued success.
