A 24-month Integrated Production Services (IPS) contract covering 55 wells at Iran’s Azadegan oil field has been signed to boost and stabilize crude oil production.
The agreement was signed Sunday by Abbas Sarkari, managing director of Petroleum Exploration Operations Company, and Mahmoud Amin-Nejad, managing director of Dasht Azadegan Arvand Oil and Gas Development Co.
Under the contract, well testing and acidizing operations will be carried out on 55 wells to increase production and achieve sustainable output from the Azadegan field.
The project is designed to improve well productivity and raise the field’s crude oil production, according to the agreement.
Dasht Azadegan Arvand Oil and Gas Development Co. will serve as the employer, while Petroleum Exploration Operations Co. will act as the contractor responsible for carrying out operations on the designated wells.
At the signing ceremony, officials emphasized the importance of accurately executing the work and its role in improving well productivity and supporting sustainable production at the Azadegan field.
The contract is part of broader development plans for the field and aims to maximize the production potential of existing wells and increase crude oil output.
