Iran Annual Non-Oil Exports Up 14.1%
Iran saw its non-oil exports rise 14.1% during the previous Iranian calendar year, which ended on March 20, in comparison to the preceding year.

Secretary general of Tehran Chamber of Commerce Ebrahim Bahadorani said in a report that the export of petrochemicals rose dramatically during last year, adding that the country's inflation rate fell last year because of the economic policies adopted by Rouhani administration. 

He said the administration has been successful in curbing stagflations it suffered for years under the previous administration. 

Iran earned more than %3.2b by exporting goods from Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ) during the first three months of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21, the zone's managing director said in June. 

Mehdi Yousefi said the country exported $3.6b non-oil items during the period. The figure did not include condensate exports which amounted to $2.2b during the first quarter of the Iranian year. 

Export of non-oil goods grew 68% in terms and weight and 24% in terms of value year-on-year, added the official. 

The exported items included petroleum heavy ends, light and heavy polyethylene, ethylene glycol di-ethylene glycol mono and Terry, nitrogen, butane, propane, gas, Paraxylene, cement and methanol.
