Following the removal of Western sanctions on Iran, relations between the two countries will certainly heal and Berlin will become a safe trade and political partner for Tehran.
Ali Majedi, the Iranian ambassador in Berlin, said Germany is the first European country that will dispatch a delegation to Tehran following the nuclear deal between Iran and the P5+1, IRNA reported.
He added Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh's visit to Germany was a favorable starting point for the resumption in cooperation between the two states.
"I hope that such visits will also mark a turning point in relations between Tehran and Berlin. Before the tightening of the sanctions, Germany was Iran's second trade partner."
With the conclusion of the nuclear talks on Tuesday, Germany sees a big rise in trade with Iran and is preparing the first high-profile foreign delegation for a visit to Tehran this week.
Headed by German Economy Minister and Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel, the German delegation will arrive in Tehran on Sunday for a two-day visit which will also take him to the central Iranian city of Isfahan.
The 60-strong delegation will include representatives of big German industrial companies such as Linde and Siemens.
Gabriel will meet President Hassan Rouhani, Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh as well as ministers of trade and energy and the central bank governor.
